*Coaching is not a substitute for therapy
If you’re currently struggling with deeper emotional or mental health concerns — such as depression, anxiety, trauma, or substance use — therapy may be the best next step before starting coaching.
Coaching is right if you:
✅ Are an adult with ADHD (diagnosed or self-identified)
✅ Feel overwhelmed by daily responsibilities despite trying hard
✅ Struggle with time management, follow-through, or prioritization
✅ Want practical tools, accountability, and structure
✅ Are ready to take action and practice new skills
✅ Can meet weekly/biweekly for accountability
Coaching might not be right if you are…
✖️ Are in acute crisis or need intensive mental health treatment
✖️ Need clinical or therapeutic support such as occupational therapy (OT) or behavior therapy (BCBA) to address foundational daily living, behavioral, or skill-acquisition needs
✖️ Managing a mental health condition (i.e. major depression, severe anxiety, PTSD) that makes daily functioning or habit-building difficult
*If this sounds like you, we recommend starting with therapy first
All of our coaches are clinically trained or board-certified to help you thrive.

FAQs
-
ADHD coaching is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps you manage executive function challenges like focus, motivation, and follow-through. Unlike therapy, it’s future-focused and practical, giving you tools to stay organized, manage time, and reduce overwhelm.
-
ADHD coaching is for adults, teens, and students who want practical strategies to manage ADHD symptoms, increase focus, and follow through on goals. We work with professionals, parents, and women with ADHD, groups who often feel unseen in traditional support.
-
Counseling helps you heal from the past, process emotions, and work through mental health challenges. Coaching is future-focused, it empowers you to take action, build new skills, and create systems for success.
At Dreavita, our counselors provide mental health therapy when deeper healing is needed, while our coaches focus on practical strategies for challenges like ADHD paralysis, procrastination, time blindness, and executive function struggles. Some people benefit from both, and we’ll help you decide what’s the best fit for you.
-
It depends. We can verify your insurance to determine if it covers our coaching sessions. If coaching is not covered by insurance, we make it practical and affordable. We offer 12-session packages: 30-minute sessions for $200/month or 60-minute sessions for $300/month—flexible to fit your schedule and needs. Clients can also typically use an HSA or an FSA account to cover coaching sessions. If you’re interested in coaching but unsure about the cost, reach out, and we will do anything we can to help you.
-
Each session is focused on your growth. Together, we’ll set goals, build skills, create accountability, review progress, and strengthen resilience so you can move forward with confidence.
-
Most clients see progress in areas like time management, productivity, organization, and emotional regulation. Our ADHD coaching focuses on reducing overwhelm, tackling procrastination, and building systems that work with your brain — not against it.
