Care That Changes Everything
About Dreavita
We are a nonprofit mental health organization dedicated to transforming the future of care, by making it more ethical, more accessible, and more sustainable for everyone involved.
Whether you're seeking support, building a career in this field, or rethinking how care systems can work better, Dreavita was created with you in mind.
35%
Providers Can’t Stay, Patients Get Left Behind
35% of therapists stay in a job for only 1–2 years, with 24% leaving within their first year. When clinicians leave or systems fail, patients pay the price.
"I realized the system wasn’t broken. It was working exactly as designed, as a sickness economy."

Our Story
Too long? Let us read it to you.
Because care should meet you where you are.
Dreavita was born out of a contradiction.
As a graduate student and mental health intern, our founder Andrea Lynn Piazza saw two realities side by side.
On one hand: deeply committed therapists helping patients through life-or-death moments.
On the other: those same clinicians, highly trained, deeply compassionate, rushing off after shift to serve tables just to stay afloat. And this wasn’t a toxic clinic. It was one of the best in the region.
Meanwhile, during a fellowship in integrated care, Andrea walked hospital halls lined with treadmills and cots, not for patients, but for medical students who hadn’t left the building in days. “Doctors don’t always get to go home,” someone told her.
It hit her: How can we expect people to deliver healing when they’re not even allowed to be well themselves?
What many call a “healthcare system” was actually a sickness economy, rewarding volume, punishing rest, and quietly burning out the very people it depends on.
Andrea saw the writing on the wall. After grad school, she followed every “sustainable” path the field had to offer:
• Hospital-based care.
• Private practice.
• Leadership in digital health.
Each one had its promise, and each one revealed the same truth: the system was working exactly as designed, and that design was failing both providers and patients.
She knew she couldn’t overhaul national insurance policies or dismantle entrenched institutions overnight.
But she could start somewhere. With one bold question:
What if we built a system where everyone, patients and providers, had a real chance to heal?
Andrea first launched a private practice, Inclusive Impact Therapy, to explore what care could look like outside traditional systems. But she quickly saw that individual effort alone wasn’t enough to fix a broken model. So she returned to school, earning an MBA from UCLA, and began building the infrastructure for something more scalable. She piloted a startup (Allgood Health) and ultimately laid the groundwork for something much bigger:
Dreavita.
A nonprofit mental health organization rooted in ethical employment, trauma-informed systems, and care that’s grounded in science and delivered with compassion. A place where innovation supports human connection, not replaces it.
And it’s already growing, spreading into new branches of tech, advocacy, and education.
Because when care is designed for everyone it touches, it creates ripple effects that reach far beyond the therapy room.
What This Means for You
At Dreavita, you don’t have to explain why care has been hard to find, we’ve been there.
That’s why we built a system where therapists are supported, not stretched thin, so they can show up fully for you.
You get continuity.
You get compassion, grounded in science.
You get care that’s designed to help you heal, not get lost in the cracks.
