Values in Practice

These values guide April’s work across digital health product leadership, equity-centered design, and impact-driven innovation.

  • I believe health technology must center the voices and needs of diverse communities, building tools that reduce barriers and expand access to care.

  • I thrive in zero-to-one environments where we reimagine what’s possible, using technology and design thinking to create products that truly change lives.

  • Every product and strategy I lead is measured by outcomes, from patient progress to adoption rates, because innovation only matters if it makes a real difference.

  • My approach is rooted in curiosity, asking questions, exploring new ideas, and connecting insights across science, technology, and human behavior.

  • The best solutions are built together. I value cross-functional teamwork, global partnerships, and co-creating with those closest to the challenges we’re solving.
