Trauma & EMDR
Past events that still set the terms for how you react now, worked through at a pace you set.
Self-Esteem & People-Pleasing
For women who can say yes to anything except themselves, and want a boundary that holds.
Betrayal & Relationship Trauma
Rebuilding trust in your own read on people after someone close proved you wrong about them.
Life Transitions
A move, a breakup, a promotion, a diagnosis. The changes that look fine on paper and feel like grief.
About Jennifer
Jennifer Anyaugo is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who helps women quiet chronic anxiety and the patterns that often come with it — perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the guilt of setting a boundary. Many of her clients are capable, responsible women who hold everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed underneath.
Her work is trauma-informed and grounded in EMDR, CBT, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness. Rather than just managing symptoms, Jennifer helps clients get to the root of what keeps them stuck. She also offers focused care for women healing from betrayal and relational trauma.
Jennifer's style is warm, collaborative, and steady. Many of her clients stay in longer-term work because meaningful change takes time and a relationship that feels safe. She offers virtual therapy across Florida and a free consultation to see if it's the right fit.

In her own words. Hearing a therapist before you talk to her takes some of the unknown out of it.
The consultation is a conversation, not a commitment

Questions before you book
Where can Jennifer see clients?
Anywhere in Florida. Sessions are virtual, by secure video, and you need to be physically in Florida at the time of your appointment.
Does she take insurance?
Most major plans are accepted through Dreavita, and we verify your benefits before the first session so there are no surprises. If your plan is out of network, ask about sliding-scale rates.
What actually happens in the free consultation?
A 15-minute video call. You say what is going on, Jennifer explains how she would work with it, and you both decide whether to continue. Nothing is booked or charged on that call.
What if I have tried therapy before and it did not help?
That is common, and worth saying out loud on the consult. Plenty of people have had a round of therapy that felt like narrating the week to a stranger. Naming what was missing makes it much easier to tell whether this would be different.
How soon could I start?
Jennifer is accepting new patients and usually has consultation times available the same week, including some weekday evenings and Sundays.
Do I need to know what is wrong before I book?
No. Most people book because something feels off, not because they have a diagnosis in mind. Sorting out what is going on is part of the work.
Can I see Jennifer if I live in Tampa, Miami, or Orlando?
Yes. Sessions are virtual, so she sees clients anywhere in Florida, including Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, St. Petersburg, and Palm Harbor. The only requirement is that you are physically in Florida at the time of your appointment.
