Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety that has become background noise, and the exhaustion of functioning through it.
Jungian & Depth Work
Following the material underneath the symptom, including dreams, images, and patterns you learned before you had words for them.
Faith-Integrated Counseling

About Ish
You're the one everyone leans on. You hold your family together, you show up at work, you keep the faith, and underneath it you're anxious, exhausted, and quietly carrying things you've never said out loud. Maybe it's an old wound that never healed. Maybe it's a marriage that's gone quiet. Ishmel Cerisier is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 11 years of experience helping adults and couples across Florida, New Hampshire, Vermont, Washington, and Georgia put that weight down.
Ish specializes in trauma and PTSD, betrayal and relational trauma, anxiety, depression, and couples work. She uses CBT, DBT, ACT, somatic approaches, and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, not as a script, but to get underneath the symptom to what's actually driving it. She works fluently in English and Haitian Creole, and can integrate your faith into the work if that's part of how you heal. For Black, Caribbean, immigrant, and Christian clients who are tired of translating themselves in a therapy room: you won't have to here.
Ish sees adults and couples by secure video across Florida, New Hampshire, Vermont, Washington, and Georgia. She is a Florida Qualified Supervisor and trains other clinicians in Jungian practice. Sessions are collaborative and paced to you. Start with a free 15-minute consultation, a short conversation to see whether she's the right fit before you commit to anything.
The consultation is a conversation, not a commitment

Questions before you book
Does Ish work with couples?
Yes, and it is her largest specialty. She uses Emotionally Focused Therapy and is currently taking new couples. Book the standard free consultation below and say it is for the two of you. Couples sessions are scheduled by hand afterward rather than through the online calendar, so there is nothing you need to do differently at this stage.
Where can Ish see clients?
Florida, New Hampshire, Vermont, Washington, and Georgia. Sessions are virtual, and you need to be physically in one of those states at the time of your appointment.
Does she speak Haitian Creole?
Yes, fluently, including in session. She is the only Haitian Creole-speaking clinician at Dreavita, so if that is the language you would rather do this work in, you can.
Can faith be part of the work?
If you want it to be. Ish offers Christian and faith-integrated counseling and has written about it for Dreavita. She will also leave it entirely out if that is not part of how you heal.
What insurance does she accept?
She is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. For other insurance she can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement, and sliding scale and financial assistance are available. The Dreavita team verifies your benefits before your first session.
What is Jungian therapy and how long does it take?
Jungian work follows what sits underneath a symptom rather than managing the symptom alone, including dreams, images, and patterns formed before you had language for them. It is slower than short-term therapy. Her trauma clients typically work with her over months, and she plans treatment that way from the start.
Does she see children or teens?
No. Ish works with adults 18 and up, and with couples. Dreavita has clinicians who specialize in children and teens.
