Okay, so have you guys ever heard about Neurofeedback and biofeedback?  Yeah, same but recently I learned it plays a huge part in how our brains manage to calm down our body and mind.

So to break it down, for me I know when I’m anxious, I start getting shaky and my heart is pounding, and if it's really bad, I feel like I'm drowning (yeah it's rough out here) but all of that physical stuff is biofeedback

Then the mental stuff like racing thoughts, spiraling, and wanting to take a ride down the sewer-slide (iykyk) is your neurofeedback.

When you get Neurofeedback, it trains your brain to regulate itself, helping you manage emotions, and reduce anxiety and depression by changing brainwave patterns in real-time.

It sounds fake but trust the process.

Neurofeedback to your brain can change so much and help you take care of yourself and your mental health.

It helps with Emotional Regulation, Focus (Jingle Jangle pay attention), and stress management.

That means if you have something like ADHD, it's proven to help your focus and cut down on how long you spend rotting in your room scrolling.

Then Biofeedback to your brain is what basically keeps it in check. So by tracking your body’s stress signals, it helps you chill out and lets you avoid the “A new piercing could fix me” thoughts. The device itself is effortless. It has little sensors that you attach to your head to read your brainwaves and give real-time feedback that tells you when your brain is freaking out so you can gently correct the behavior.

It also helps you actually sleep, feel alert, and awake. These therapies help give you back control over your own mental health. Which in turn, allows you to be the best version of yourself.

Life is hard and mental health struggles suck, but neurofeedback and biofeedback might just succeed where other therapies haven't. It has scientific data proving to help you manage your anxiety, get better sleep, or just help you feel like you're a person. Trauma hurts in more ways than we can count but you deserve to feel peace in your own body.

TLDR: Biofeedback and neurofeedback could help improve our mental health.
